Welp...

While the LBJ museum was interesting and insightful, a detailed recap does not appear necessary as we all went to see it. That being said, I did find the manuscripts offered a rather unique insight that the opposing documentaries did not offer. War is too complex to have just one side of the story, which is the way the Vietnam War appeared in the museum (but com’on! Of course they wouldn’t show the really bad parts of the war since we are in his, LBJ, museum).

I still hold by my the, well I am not going to take credit for this movie idea because, to be honest, I am not sure where it came from (sorry to whoever came up with the idea), idea of trying to figure out why, in particular, we as high-school students didn’t really learn about the Vietnam War. While I do agree that interviewing vet’s and getting their take on the war and interviewing students and getting their take on the war or somehow documenting our progress as rhetoric students would be interesting, I just don’t see a solid thesis, if you will, behind those ideas. Just my take though.
