Things to do this week

For this week we plan to get Final Cut installed on my laptop so we can begin editing the interviews that start rolling in and getting clips from the Obama speech that would be relevant to the video essay. I hope that once it is installed then the editing team and I can get together and get familiar with the program so that we can know what we are doing when the interviews come in. We are already short on time and so it would be smart to use this time to get familiar with Final Cut so that we can have things running efficiently.
Second, is to start getting familiar with some of the music that we will putting into the script. This is why we planned to get together with the music team so that we get a feel for some of their choices and see how we can work that into the video so that we can have use some rhetorical strategies.
