Oh man!

I believe my biggest difficulty with this project is getting it started. I feel like we spent a long time going around in circles because everyone had so many great ideas but we had to bring it down. It felt a little hard to get everyone's ideas across and combine it into one strong, solid topic.
At first it was getting a little annoying to hear everyone's ideas because I felt like we were finally getting somewhere, we were finally moving on to figure out our objectives and strategies to execute our plan...and then someone would disagree. Then we had to start all over and try to mix that into the plan. It was very frustrating!
Other than that, I think that we are doing is a great project because never before had I been given an idea and the tools to figure it out. Figure it out and create something that will also make others think. I think that the topic on Vietnam is a great plan because we don't hear about it often. Seeing that this is the main focus in our class, it couldn't have worked out any better.
It also feels hard to get to working around with everyone. I try hard to get into it but I feel like everyone else has a tight grip on what they are doing. Other than that, I am working with the editing group to get the project going as soon as the first interviews start rolling in. Alan suggested that since it is all HD clips that we must use a Mac because Windows is more likely to crash with the media. I guess he's right because Mac's are much easier to handle and the iMovie program makes it simple to create a great presentation.
Definitely looking forward to getting the editing started. Research and storyboard play a huge role into the rhetoric of the project but editing is about bringing it all together and making this presentable. It will be very exciting!
