Ah Video?! Really?

The first time I heard the idea about the video essay, I kind of freaked out in my mind. Thoughts like, "I know nothing about filming and production" ran through my mind constantly. How in the world would we be able to pull this off in the matter of like 2 months?! It seemed nearly impossible to me.

I felt better when we divided up our roles and partners were created. I felt that we would not be alone and we would have eachother's backs. BUT when I was assigned composer rather than the researcher, I g ot REALLY nervous. I hardly ever add music to my iphone and I never just sit at the computer and find random music that no one has ever heard of. How would I use experience to contribute? What I came up with was the fact that I cannot let people down when they depend on me. No I may not know much about music, sound effects, or technical 'stuff', but I am always reliable and I can always learn and ask for help. I am also always open to people giving their ideas.

Even though this seemed very close to impossible because of the lack of experience and time, we are really working well together and have the drive to make an effective argument that we will be proud of. Now that we got past the difficult job of actually creating the thesis, we just have to contribute to the video by staying on task and finishing our duties effectively. We really need to keep communicating and we will be just fine!
