So Much to Think About!

After the discussion on Thursday, the Vietnam makes me wonder what the truth really is. What runs through my mind is what went through their minds through the year or so each private was there? Did they fully understand why they were there and why they hated the Vietnamese? From what it sounds like, no one knows what was behind the war. There was a small time in the discussion that may have hinted conspiracy which sounds reasonable, but that will never be proven. Look at JFK, there are tons of thoughts spinning around, but it will never be settled. Vietnam seems to have been brushed over and i did not realize it until it was br ought up in the discussion. I remembered that when I signed up for this course, I took a moment and thought about what I knew about this war and I realized that I knew very little and now I know why. We rarely even spoke of the word Vietnam in my school career before this class and it really makes me wonder why it was never brought up! Because I feel that they are hiding it from me, it makes me want to research it that much more! Will the truth ever be fully justified? Probably not, but I want to know as much as I can. The government always seems to be hiding something and it's impossible to understand everything, but worth a shot!
