Why I am in RHE 309K

I am in this class because I feel that I need to improve on my writing skills. I know I will need these skills later on when writing papers for other classes. In general, I also need to learn how to write better so that I can send the message that I want to send to the reader. I have had misunderstandings because of my writing and I want to fix this. Sometimes a person reads what I write and thinks the opposite of what I am trying to say. It's become a stressful problem. I want to be able to express myself on paper without others taking my message the wrong way.
